Which key suits your team?
There is no one correct distribution for every company. Sets the key before shift and uses it consistently afterwards.
A simple example: a tip of 180 euros corresponds to 18 hours of work. For 8, 6 and 4 hours, shares of 80, 60 and 40 euros arise.

Every registered person receives the same amount. Hours and roles don’t matter.
By hours worked
The pool is divided by all hours worked. Each person receives their share according to the time entered.
With role factor
Hours and factor are offset against each other. This allows you to map a previously agreed key for different roles.
A result that can be checked.
The calculator shows the percentage and amount for each person. The checksum reports whether the entire pool has been distributed. Small rounding remainders end up exactly at the largest decimal point values.
Note on taxes and labor law
The calculator is a tool for mathematical distribution. He does not evaluate tax or labor law issues. Section 3 No. 51 EStG describes the conditions under which voluntary tips to employees are tax-free. In the case of a company pool rule, the specific design should be checked professionally.

Are names or amounts saved?
No. The calculation only runs in your browser. GastroSprint does not receive the entries. Only when you download a CSV yourself will a file be created on your device.
How is the last cent distributed?
The calculator first rounds all proportions down. Remaining cent amounts then go to the largest remaining decimal values. The distributed total corresponds exactly to the pool entered.
Can I weight service and cuisine differently?
Yes. Choose hours with role factor. A factor of 1 corresponds to the normal hourly value. Higher or lower factors change the proportion according to your pre-agreed rule.
What applies to tips for tax purposes?
Section 3 No. 51 EStG calls tips tax-free if third parties give them to an employee voluntarily, without legal entitlement and in addition to the amount owed. A tax advisor should check whether your specific pool solution falls under this category.
Can I pass on the distribution?
Yes. The CSV download includes names, hours, factors, percentages and amounts. The file can be opened in a spreadsheet program, for example.
